One of the more annoying habits that a dog can have is jumping on people with their paws. If your dog does not like the person that it is doing this to, this can cause some major difficulties. Usually this starts early on when the puppy jumps up in a playful manner. At this stage, it is cute and usually okay. You need to say "sit" and see what the dog does. If it does it, give it a reward. If you start young, your puppy will not have this habit when it reaches adult age. Dogs, like all animals, have instincts that cause them to do certain things. One example of this is chasing. Since a dog is a predator, chasing anything that's moving fast is a typical reaction. Although it's normal, however, a dog who's always chasing things can be annoying and safety risk. The best way to prevent your dog from chasing things is to simply keep him on a leash at all times.
